1. What Data We Collect

From Tutors

  • We collect data to facilitate tuition matching and business operations:

  • Name, gender, date of birth


  • Contact information (email, mobile number, Telegram handle)


  • Education background & qualifications (including uploaded certificates)


  • Tutoring subjects, availability, hourly rates


  • Bank details (only for incentives, not stored permanently)


  • Referral information (if applicable)


  • Past teaching experience & optional profile description


From Clients/Parents

  • We collect only what is needed to match you with tutors:

  • Name, contact number (e.g., WhatsApp)


  • Child’s education level, subjects, learning needs


  • Preferred timing, frequency, and location (e.g., online/physical)


  • Budget range


  • Any other notes relevant to matching



Automatically Collected (Website)

When you use our website:

  • IP address and browser type


  • Clickstream data (pages visited, timestamps)


  • Cookies (for login, analytics, user experience)

2. How Your Data is Used

We only use your personal data for purposes necessary to run our platform efficiently:

3. Who We Share It With

We share data only with parties who need it to fulfill service requests:

  • To tutors: We share anonymized client tuition requests (e.g., “Sec 3 Math, Bedok, weekday evenings”) to let them apply.


    • Once a tutor is confirmed, we share the client’s name, contact number, and exact address (if physical).

  • To clients: We share tutor profile data (e.g., qualifications, age, gender, availability).


    • Contact details (e.g., number, full name) are only given after job confirmation.

  • To developers or partners: If helping us build tools or improve features, they are contractually bound to protect data under PDPA.

4. Data Security & Protection

We implement reasonable safeguards:

  • Password-protected database (if used)


  • Access restricted to admins


  • No data stored in unencrypted public sheets


  • No credit card or banking data stored (payments handled externally)

However, as data transmission via internet carries risk, users are advised to use secure networks.

5. Retention Period

  • We retain data as long as required to fulfill the purpose of collection (e.g., job history for follow-up).


  • If you withdraw consent (see below), we will delete your data unless required for compliance or dispute resolution.


6. Your Rights (Under PDPA)

  • Request access to your personal data


  • Correct outdated/inaccurate information


  • Withdraw consent at any time

7. Assignment Application System (Tutors Only)

  • Our Telegram-based application system may require verification via phone number and date of birth to access assignments.


  • Tutors agree to allow their profile (subjects, experience, education, etc.) to be visible within the system.


  • Do not share your DOB with other tutors to prevent potential misuse.

8. Legal Compliance

We may disclose your data if required by:

  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies


  • Court orders or legal proceedings

We will not do so unless legally obligated.

9. Updates to Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our Telegram/Website with the effective date.
