LittleWiser Tutor Terms & Conditions

Applies to: All tutors engaged through LittleWiser Pte Ltd

1. Nature of Relationship

1.1 Tutors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of LittleWiser.
 

1.2 LittleWiser’s role is limited to tutor-parent matching, facilitating communication, and providing platform support.

2. Payment and Commission Obligations

2.1 Parents will pay to LittleWiser directly for the first 2 weeks, based on the agreed hourly or per-lesson rate.
2.2 Commission structure is as follows:

2.3 Future payments after the first 2 weeks will be made to the Tutor directly.

2.4 Failure to remit the commission within the stipulated time may result in:

  • Temporary suspension from new tuition offers

  • Removal from priority queue

  • Permanent blacklist from the platform for repeated offences

2.5 Tutors must provide accurate bank transaction reference for audit and confirmation.

2.6 In the case where the clients are unable to transfer the 50% commission to LittleWiser, Tutors will be expected to collect it on our behalf and transfer to us as soon as possible.

3. Conduct and Commitments

3.1 Tutors must:

  • Conduct themselves professionally and punctually


  • Complete a minimum of four consecutive weeks per assignment unless otherwise agreed


  • Notify both the parent and LittleWiser at least 48 hours in advance for cancellations


3.2 Tutors may not:

  • Solicit parents for future tuition assignments outside the platform


  • Underreport lesson attendance or earnings


  • Share confidential parent/student information with third parties

3.3 All Tutors are required to provide accurate particulars and academic qualifications. Clients may request supporting documents for verification at any time. Any Tutor found providing false information or fraudulent certificates may be reported to the relevant authorities.

4. Tuition Cancellation

4.1 If clients were to request for a change in tutor within the first 2 weeks of lessons, LittleWiser will only collect 50% of the tuition rates involved and the remainder will be paid to the tutor.

4.2 Cases where Tutors will not be entitled to their share of 50% of the fees:

  • Cancellation of tuition from Tutor's end

  • Inaccurate information provided by the Tutor

5. Disclaimers

5.1 LittleWiser is not liable for disputes regarding payment, lesson quality, or student academic performance.
 

5.2 Tutors are solely responsible for their income declarations and tax obligations (e.g., IRAS reporting).
